Some spaces are so special, they deserve their own unique treatment. The third-floor poolside terrace of the magnificent, Art Deco Palais de la Méditerranée on Nice’s Promenade des Anglais is one of them.

Our task was to give the space more personality and warmth – to make it more inviting. So we split the terrace into three seating zones: each of which signals its role through furniture and layout.

Luxurious fixtures draw guests in, earthy textures and materials put them at ease, while ambient lighting provides elegance and character. The terrace is now a dawn-till-dusk destination to delight guests all day long.
