Could the thrill of sourdough pizza fired in the back of a Land Rover be translated to a city restaurant? Would it lose the mood of intimacy and liberation? To make that brand-redefining move for Pizzarova, we immersed ourselves in the habits and affections of pizza-eaters.
The attributes that would tie a city-based Pizzarova to its free-wheeling roots were friendship, playfulness, openness, and craft. So we put the oven centre-stage, gave the furniture a newly assembled look, and turned the connection between hand and pizza into a graphic device. The concept worked so well, Pizzarova now trades from three restaurants.
