Neon-lit authenticity for a Chinese dumpling restaurant
Interior Design | Architecture
Xi Home is casual dining with a burst of Chinese red and neon. The restaurant’s dumplings come from the Liaoning region of north-eastern China; its decor reflects the bustling port of Dalian where food is quick and life is fast.
Xi Home’s founder, Wenjun Xiang, was born in Dalian, so we worked together to recreate the energy and free-spirited style of people on the move. The furniture is inventive yet utilitarian; decorative features are playful yet practical; dumpling prep is visible from the street and the restaurant. Xi Home is where you catch the gossip before your ship catches the tide.
