A naturalistic and sustainable style for Simon Rogan’s chef’s table
Interior Design | Architecture
A doubling in size of Simon Rogan’s chef’s table restaurant provided space to reimagine the Michelin-three-starred chef’s ethos and background – to connect guests to the natural world and to the Lake District landscape that inspires Simon’s cooking.
The mood is at once homely and inspirational. The dining area and adjoining lounge are a showcase for craftsmanship and natural materials. Amid the rich, warm, and earthy tones, diners encounter a variety of textures from the stone dining table to simple leather lounge seating. The leather is a renewable, wood-based material, while other fabrics are made from recycled and recyclable materials. Sustainability goes to the core of the Aulis concept.
