Evolution of brand identity inspired by a Parisian journey of self-discovery
To refresh the identity of the rapidly growing Bistrot Pierre chain, we went back to basics. We took a trip to Paris, home of the bistro, to gather a collection of Anglo-French travel ephemera.
The ideas inspired by those materials added a new level of warmth and confidence to Bistrot Pierre's relaxed French style. We updated the brandmark, introduced a colour system, brought in some whimsical illustrations, and directed the photographer's lens towards candid, storytelling subjects. It was the identity the brand needed to make its mark in print and on social media.
